"The goal of today's social welfare programme is basically tri-dimensional. Firstly, it is to encourage the philosophy of giving back to the society parts of what we have got from/through the society. Secondly, it is to correct the psychology of considering social welfare as the exclusive responsibility of the government alone. Thirdly, it is to advocate the ideology of political-group-based social responsibility to the needy even before we will need them.
"As female ambassadors of the ruling APC in the state of Osun, we will want to maintain/sustain a social welfare programme of this nature at various levels- State/Federal Constituency, Senatorial Districts, Local Government Development Areas,(LCDAs). This is to ensure that people at various levels, especially those who are vulnerable, partake of the benefits/dividends of democracy courtesy of our people who have been politically empowered/positioned to do this on behalf of the government of the day".- Hon.
