IROYE COMMUNITY, ILESA OVERJOYED AT MINISTER OF HEALTH'S BOREHOLE GIFT






As the work on the gigantic Ilesa Water Project is progressing, access to clean safe water still remains a huge challenge for the inhabitants of the ancient city .

Women and children spend several hours in the collection of water. Many deaths and sicknesses can be avoided by having access to clean safe water.

The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole had his infancy at the popular Iroye community of Ilesa East and he is in tune with his people.

To ensure that the people of the community have access to safe water and avoid water-borne diseases and to show the people of his political ward, (Ilesa North East, Ward 7),his appreciation for their support, on Saturday, 25th of May a day coinciding with the birthday of the erstwhile governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Prof. Isaac Adewole donated a boreholes with water pump facilities to his people.
