Kofo and Titi Move to Strengthen Women's Political Participation in Ilesa East Ward 4

Thursday, 19th December, 2019 at Ilemo Ward 4 of Ilesa East Local Government, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Wing gathered at a meeting to listen to words of encouragement and appreciation from two of their members who are making headway in politics, Mrs. Kofoworola Omole (MKO), the Secretary of Ilesa East LG, and Mrs. Titi Fadahunsi, the daughter of one time governor of the old Western region, Sir Odeleye Fadahunsi.

Talking  at the meeting the duo of Kofo and Titi emphasized  that women deserve a comfortable position in the political, business, and civic arena and if this is attained, it will serve as an investment in the progress of our society.

"Women have a right to engage in civil society, vote in elections, be elected to government office, serve on boards, and make their voices heard in any process that will ultimately affect them, their families, and their communities." Titi Fadahunsi said.

"And  those that are involved at ward level need to be appreciated and encouraged, you see, this is why we come with an envelope containing money for the women of our ward as a way of strengthening their political participation". Kofo Omole submitted.
