Osun LG Parliamentary: Ilesa North East LCDA Chairman Presents N1b 2020 Budget Estimate

The Chairman of Ilesa North East Council Development Area in the State of Osun, Hon. Adeniyi Oladipo a.k.a Oluyi Blow today, Monday, 9th of December, 2019, presented N1.005 billion 2020 budget before the Council's House of Parliament headed by the Leader of the Parliament, Hon. Femi Olowe, for consideration.

The 2020 budget, tagged “Budget of Consolidation,” was according to the Chairman prepared with the objective of meeting the critical needs of the citizens of the LCDA in line with the State of Osun developmental plans.

On expenditure, personnel takes NN380,622,195.00; Overhead Cost has N226,500,000.00 Personnel is put at N380,622,195.00 while Revenue is estimated at N1,005,122,195.00.

The Chairman, while addressing the Parliamentarians and Head of Departments present during the presentation of the budget, said that the 2020 budget intends to achieve the following:
1. Welfare of staff and entire people of the LCDA
2. Improvement of the Internally Generated Revenue of thevLCDA
3. Provision of infrastructure facilities
4. Boost food production
5. Youth and sports development
6. Improve the health care system
7. Improvement in the standard of education in the LCDA.

Recall that the introduction of a parliamentary system of local government in the State of Osun about two years ago has as its main objective of having direct impact and meeting the yearning and aspiration of the people at the grassroots.
