See How Much Olowoopejobori Plans to Expend in 2020 As He Presents Budget Estimate Before Ilesa East Council Parliament

The Chairman of Ilesa East Local Government of the State of Osun, Hon. (Otunba) Akeem Adesoji Olowoopejobori on Monday, 30 December, 2019 fulfilled the expected role of his office by presenting the 2020 budget before the Parliamentarian Council of his Local Government headed by the Leader of the Parliament, Hon. Mrs. Olusola Adeoye (a.k.a. California).

Presenting a proposed total budget of "N1,202,213,763.00 that he christened " Budget of Next Level" before the House, he said, the budget came up with a view to ensuring that the Four-Point Integral Plans of the State of Osun Government is complemented at enhancing good governance and catapulting Ilesa East Local Government Area from its present situation to an ideal situation.

The N1.2billion budget has a proposed Capital expenditure of N500,000,000.00 while the recurrent expenditure is N702,213,763.00.

According to Hon. Olowoopejobori, in formulating the budget, consultations were made with the people, inputs of the stakeholders were gathered and professional advice from budget officers of the Council and officials of the State Government of Osun were strictly adhered to.

"Honourable Members of the Respected Parliamentary Council, Ladies and Gentlemen, the 2020 budget Proposal that I am presenting before you today shows the plan, policies and programmes of our administration for the year 2020. May I use this medium to assure you all that strategies to source for the fund shall be put in place to ensure successful implementation". The Council Chairman concluded in his speech at the presentation.

Members of the Council's parliamentarians present at the budget presentation were, Hon. Johnson Ajilore, Hon. Wale Jegede, Hon. Busuyi Oti, Hon. Olaniyi Agboola a.k.a.T.K. While the Council's Scribe, Hon. Mrs Kofoworola Omole, the Council Manager and Directors of various departments of the Council were also in attendance.

A one time member of Caretaker Committee of the Council, Hon. Akin Fowowe, a.k.a. Arole, the Secretary of Women Affairs and the Secretary of Youths Affairs  also witnessed the budget presentation.
