The remains of former Oyo Governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi have been laid to rest at his Oluyole residence while hundred of associates, friends and supporters were waiting at the Senator Ishiaq Abiola Ajimobi Centra Mosque, Oke Ado earlier announced to the public as the venue of the internment.
The burial, was only attended by only his wife, children as well as very close associates, held around 10am.

The decoy was adopted the family to control the massive crowd already awaiting the the corpse and this allowed an easy crowd control.
The internment was carried out behind closed door in line with the initial statement by the family as journalists were not allowed access.
It was strictly a private arrangement as only few people apart from immediate members of the family were allowed to witness the burial.

At about half past ten in the morning some Islamic clerics who conducted the prayers were seen leaving the premises.
Officials of NCDC also left the premises few minutes later.
A number of sympathizers were locked out of the street leading to the residence of the late governor by security agents.
A prayer session is expected to hold at the Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi Central Mosque, Oke Ado, Ibadan.
