The Chairman Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC), Otunba Olusegun Oladitan has assured the Old Students Association of Ifeoluwa Grammar School Osogbo of his support and pledged an outstanding performance in the discharge of his duties as the Commission's Chairman.
This is just as he appreciated the Alumni Association for identifying with him as a long time acquaintance.
Otunba Oladitan gave the assurance during a courtesy visit paid him at his office today by the Ifeoluwa Grammar School Old students Association.
The Chairman while pledging his determination to give the Commission his best performance that would make them proud of him, emphasized that giving back to one's Alma Mata is enshrined in everyone and appreciated the former school principals and teachers for investing in the students, describing success as the reward which is evident for all to see.
In his remark, the Commissioner in charge of ICT/Information, Hon Oladosu Gidigbi who is also an Alumni of Ifeoluwa Grammar school, went down the memory lane to describe the OSSIEC Chairman as a prominent footballer during their School days, using the occasion to appreciate God for keeping them alive and also disclosed that the number one citizen of the state, Governor Gboyega Oyetola is also an Alumni of the reputable school.
Hon Oladosu Gidigbi described Ifeoluwa Grammar School as a sensitive and noteworthy life molder, promising them the desired support at all times.
Barr Abduramon Olodo, the Chairman of the Alumni Association in his speech, congratulated the newly appointed OSSIEC Commission Chairman and Members and prayed God to be with them through out their tenure, adding that the Ifeoluwa Old Students Association is available to work with them and to give them maximum support as needed.
