Hon. Taiwo Oluga the honourable member of the Nigeria House of Representatives that represents Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency of Osun State has on Tuesday 21st of July 2020 plenary proceedings of the House moved a motion on the need to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the cause of death of the female Airforce combatant pilot, Tolulope Arotile.
She expressed dismay at the circumstances that surrounded the death, calling it a waste of a life that was a shining light to Nigerians. "The late pilot was determined, competent, level headed and was a national hero." She said.
Hon. Oluga also called for the immortalization of late Tolulope by renaming a befitting Airforce structure in her name as she suggested a post-humous promotion to the next rank for late Nigeria Airforce combatant pilot.
Her motion was seconded and adopted after majority of members at the plenary voted in its favour.

Femi Gbajabiamila noted that the death of Tolulope Arotile was indeed a very painful loss for the country.
