Representation with Responsibility: Hon. Taiwo Oluga gives back to her constituents






Sunday, 6th December 2020, our correspondent was at the empowerment program organised by Hon. Taiwo Oluga member House of Representatives, Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency which was held at St. Paul's Primary School, Gbongan, State of Osun.




The good people of her constituency were empowered with 70 motorcycles, 45 deep freezers, 20 grinding machines, 15 sewing machines, 15 hair dryers and cash grant worth N1.5 million for market women to boost their businesses.





At the ceremony that had in attendance the State of Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun, the Alapomu of Apomu Kingdom, Olufi of Gbongan,  Hon. Bola Oyebamiji, Chief  Mrs. Sola Oyehan-Ogunfolaju, LGA and LCDA Chairmen and parliamentarians, Party Executives as well as stakeholders across the Federal Constituency, Hon. Taiwo Oluga said;

"It is my humble way of giving back to the community that sent me to Abuja as her representative.




"The empowerment is in phases and from my day one as the people’s representative, I have shown them that I will responsibly represent them. It is in the fulfillment of this pledge that we gather together at Gbongan today to show that with commitment and purposeful honesty, we can lift ourselves up. 


"These may not go round now but no one in my constituency will be forgotten. More will come."
