EXCLUSIVE PICTURES: Love and Style On Display As Seyi Ogundipe Mother Is Buried In Ilesa






Ilesa socialite Seyi Ogundipe popularly known as "AseyiJege"  recently lost his mother, Mama Juliana Olufunmilayo Ogundipe-Ogedengbe aka Iya Odidi on 20th September, 2020. She was aged 88. She was also the mother of Olubukola Clara Olanrewaju.




The final burial ceremony was held in Ilesa, Osun State. The highly classy event had many notable dignitaries in attendance.





The activities marking the burial of Mama Odidi started on Friday 5th February, 2021 with a "levée de corps" which signified the removal of the remains of the deceased from the Dynamic Morgue situated at the Akad area of Osogbo road, Ilesa. Her body was brought to the Oke-Omiru home after passing through the Okesa, Obanla Ogedengbe family home in a fanfare funeral procession. This was followed in the evening by a Service of Songs. 




The funeral service was held at the Methodist Cathedral Church of Otapete, Ilesa with notable dignitaries that included the Rt. Rev. James Olusegun, Dr. Charles Akinola, the Chief of Staff to Osun State governor Gboyega Oyetola, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, Osun SUBEB Chairman, Prof. Foluso Okunmadewa, World Bank representative, Mr. Sunday Igbaroola, Osun Accountant General, Dr. Bola Olanipekun, Osun Commissioner for Commerce, Hon. Segun Olanibi, Osun Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Air Commadore Deji Laoye among others in attendance before she was interred at the Okejigba cemetery of the church.


A lavish reception party started immediately after the church and burial rights at the spacious Mega Kings Event Centre, Ile-Ife road, Ilesa where captain of industries, politicians, academia, successful businessmen, royal fathers among other top socialites and dignitaries were hosted.
