Residents of Ilaa-Ijesa in Atakumosa West Local Government of Osun State as well as their king His Royal Majesty, Oba Adewale Ojarotade, the Alaa of Ilaa-Ijesa were very happy to host several traditional rulers who came to witness the chieftaincy installation of an Ibadan born academician, Adebisi Omolara Busari, the Vice-principal of Community Grammar School, Adamasingba, Ibadan, Oyo State who was on Saturday conferred with a chieftaincy title of Erelu Atayese of Ilaa-Ijesa at the town square.

The occasion which attracted many traditions rulers of Ijesaland and some parts of Osun state, community leaders, Chiefs, and security operatives was described as a brush with destiny since we don't know what the future holds, so, it's good to make the most of every moment.

Speaking at the occasion on the sidelines of the installation, his Royal Majesty, Oba Ojarotade maintained that what played out on the weekend was as a result of friendship which started at the then Oyo State College of Education, Ila-Oragun in 1988 and the continuity of the bond via the College's Old Students Association WhatsApp platform. He mentioned also that the Mayegun of Ilaa is also an old student of the college.
"Adebisi is our daughter, there is no development going on in my community she won't contribute." He said.
Also, the Loja of Ibodi, Oba Omisade Agboluaje, who is also an old student of the college but today the President of Ijesa South Council of Obas expressed nostalgic and happy feeling as he met with friends he had not seen since 1988. In his goodwill message, he urged the newly installed Erelu Atayese who she considered as a daughter of Ilaa by her installation, to live a mark in the ongoing development of Ilaa town as he urged her to continue to be of good character.
Speaking after her installation, the Erelu Atayese of Ilaa-Ijesa assured the monarch and the people of the town that she will continue to work with other stakeholders in an effort to bring development to the town.
Traditional rulers that witnessed the installation include Olukotun of Ikotun, Oba Adio Amuda Ajadi, Olokinni of Okinni, Oba Alkadir Olawale, Onikoyi of Ikoyi, Oba Oba Afees Badeji, Owamiran of Esa-oke, Oba Adeyemi Adediran, Alase of Ilase, Oba Isiaka Adesina Ajarabiolu, Awaraja of Iwaraja, Oba Ibironke Sunday Isola, Alaigbe of Aigbe, Oba Azees Adejinmi.
Others are Asaobi of Isaobi, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olowe, Oloke of Okebode, Oba Ezekiel Adediran Agunlejika, Oba Kajola-Ijesa, Oba Aderibigbe Okunade, Olukitibi of Kitibi, Oba Dr. Adebisi Ayoola, Olopete of Opete, Oba Samuel Oyedele Akanni, Ologburo of Ogburo, Oba Asimiyu Agboluaje.
Also in attendance was the Secretary of Mr. Samuel Ayobolu the General Secretary of Ilaa-Ijesa Progressive Union.
