OSUN SUBEB BOSS TASKS LGEA BOARD MEMBERS ON HARMONIOUS WORKING RELATIONSHIP...By Sofiu Abdulganiyu

 

The Executive Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon Ajibola Famurewa has charged all Local Government Education Authority Board members to cultivate harmonious working relationship in order to obtain  uptimum results at  basic education level across the the state. 

Hon. Famurewa gave the charge during an interactive meeting with the management of LGEAs  in Osogbo, the State capital.

The SUBEB Chairman, who described the LGEA members as critical stakeholders, stated that they are expected to understand the policy framework of education, and conscientiously implement them by ensuring that they are on the same working page with career officers in their various local government areas.

He counselled them to always pursue excellence in the management of schools, while also charging them to lead by example through focused leadership,alerting that they cannot afford to fail.

In his speech at the meeting, the ruling Party Chairman in the State, Prince Adegboyega Famodun appreciated all the LGEA members for their impressive turn out at the meeting,while also encouraging them to cultivate the habit of using  Yoruba language  at various functions,advancing that it will aid speedy growth and development in all spares of life.

Prince Famodun therefore charged the LGEA members which included, the Chairmen, Secretaries, Community Relation Officers and Board members to brace up for performance, reminding them that their appointment is first of it's kind since the inception of the current administration.

The State APC Chairman also admonished them to give maximum support  to the State helmsman in his second term bid.

In his welcome charge, the Executive Secretary of SUBEB,Mr. Adeoye Bakare advised all LGEA Board members to allow love and peace to reign among themselves in discharging their duties and to see themselves as one indivisible  family inorder to achieve the desired goals and objectives at the basic education level.                 

In their seperate requests, the Chairman Central Working Committee for Local Government Education Authority Board, Dr. Victor Olaniyi, the Chairman of Chairmen of Local government Education Authority, Chief Samuel Owoeye, the Chairman of Secretaries of Local Government Education Authority, Mr. Ajani Tajudeen, the Chairman of Forum of Local Government Education Authority Board Members, Mr Joshua Abikoye and the Chairperson of Local Government Education Authority Community Relation Officers, Princess Adejoke Oyinadejobi,who appreciated the State Governor for the ongoing teacher's recruitment exercise, requested for monitoring vehicles to enhance their assignment as well as proper dissemination of duty schedule from SUBEB State Headquarters to the career officers at the local government levels
