The Member Representing Ifedayo State Constituency, Honourable Elizabeth Adenike Abioye had a historic and unprecedented legislative week, as she was actively involved in the passage of Five living Bills.

To say the least, State of Osun House of Assembly has the history of parading a crop of seasoned lawmakers and the Seventh Assembly under the leadership of Rt Hon. Timothy Owoeye is not an exception, as the current parliamentarians are performing wonders in terms of passing bills, making useful resolutions and performing unbiased oversight functions.

In all these, failure to acknowledge the contributions of the lawmaker Representing Ifedayo State Constituency, Hon. Elizabeth Adenike Abioye which towards the successes recorded so far by the seventh Assembly, especially the actualization of the Five weighty bills that were passed into law would be tantamount to injustice..

History will forever be kind to members of the Sacred Arm of Government in general and particularly Hon Elizabeth Adenike Abioye's submissions and participation in the cause of plenaries held preparatory to the passage of the Osun State Animal Grazing Regulation and Cattle Ranches Establishment Bill 2021, as such could be better appreciated when its manifestation earnestly commences.

It is worthy of note the unrelenting efforts through her consistent appearances during the Legislation exercise towards the timely passage. It is an indisputable fact that Honourable Elizabeth Adenike Abioye had an indelible ink of the bill.

The bill passed into law will prevent the destruction of farms, crops as a result of the hitherto open rearing and grazing of livestock, and put an end to the killings, sexual molestation, thereby protecting the environment from degradation and pollution caused by open rearing and grazing of livestock.

In the same vein, she also had a date with history for being part of the last week proceedings during which Osun State Legislative Funds Management Bill 2021 was passed.

The bill was passed into law to regulate and ensure the doctrine of checks and balances for the Legislative Arm of Government.

Hon. Abioye was also part of the force, who raised a motion for the passage of a bill tagged Osun State Judiciary Funds Management Bill 2021, after it had gone through legislation rites in conformity with the rules and standing orders of the House.

The active, bold, brilliant and straight forward female Ora-igbomina born Lawmaker equally registered the opinion of people of Ifedayo State Constituency during the passage of Osun State Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Bill 2021.

According to Hon. Elizabeth Abioye, who is the Chairman, House committee on health, the passed bill is timely, considering the alarming cases of molestation, harmful practices,abuses and among other related disturbing issues which the bill has captured.  She therefore believes that the bill will sanitize the public space.

Similarly, the Osun State Private Veterinary Premises and Ambulatory Practics (prohibition) bill 2021 was not passed into law without honourable Elizabeth Adenike Abioye's contributions.
