NEW OSUN NDLEA COMMANDANT VISITS OSSIEC CHAIRMAN, SEEKS CONTINUED COMPLEMENTARY COLLABORATION




 


The Chairman, Osun Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC), Otunba Segun Oladitan has harped on the need to concretize the existing harmonious working  relationship between the Commission and NDLEA, advancing that they are complementary partners in electoral duties.


Otunba Segun Oladitan made the plea while playing host to the new State Commandant of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mr Yomade Ogunbiyi and his team in his office.                          


The OSSIEC Chairman who confessed that the NDLEA has been a veritable ally over the years, called on the new NDLEA boss to upgrade the security arrangement within the environment, alerting that the Agency's services will be needed when activities towards the conduct of  council election begin in the State.


Earlier in his speech, the new NDLEA Commandant in Osun, Mr. Yomade Ogunbiyi promised that the Agency will endeavour to build on the level of mutual relationship that had existed between the two neighbouring agencies hitherto.              


The Osun Commandant of  NDLEA said he's poised  to intensify the campaign against illicit drug usage as a way of promoting sanity within the system.                                

                                                    

Present at the meeting were the OSSIEC Commissioners: Alhaji Wahab Adewoyin, Mr. Rufus Oyeniran, Mr.Oladosu Gidigbi, Alhaja Suabat Babalola Adubi as well as the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Barr. Adedapo Adejumo.
