UBEC, OSUN SUBEB TRAINS QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICERS IN SCHOOLS.

 

The Executive Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa has urged Quality Assurance Officers to be more committed to their duties, encouraging them that public schools academic performance reflects that their contribution is yielding positive results. 

Hon Famurewa stated this in a speech delivered at  the ongoing 5-day training workshop  in Osogbo. The workshop, which was organized by the Universal Basic Education Commission( UBEC), Abuja in collaboration with Osun Universal Basic Education Board, is holding within the three senatorial districts of the State for  quality assurance officers in public schools.

The SUBEB Boss asserted that Governor Oyetola led administration has been working judiciously on its educational reformation policy in order to move the wheel of progress of the state education to an enviable height in the country.

He then lauded the vision and policy objective of the federal republic of Nigeria, through the Universal Basic Education Commission,  on the need to train and retrain quality assurance officers in order to equip them for quality delivery. 

He however implored the participants to take the training programme very seriously and cooperate with the resource persons, by paying rapt attention to the lecture being delivered, in order to continue to move state  education sector to greater heights.

In his welcome address, the Executive Secretary, Mr Adeoye Bakare thanked UBEC and Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, for their support at ensuring  continued  training workshop which, according to him,has impacted positively on students' performance in public schools.

Mr Bakare therefore enjoined the participants  to make judicious use of the knowledge acquired at the training workshop in order to continue to move the state education forward. 

In his goodwill message, the UBEC team leader, Alhaji Alabi Asaju, commended the state government of Osun, through the leadership of Osun SUBEB,on it's unrelenting efforts at ensuring that effectiveness and efficiency are entrenched in basic education delivery in the state.

He  therefore implored participants to give the training workshop all the seriousness it deserves, by paying rapt attention to the resource persons,  asking relevant questions that will sharpen their educative skills for uptimum performance.

In attendance were SUBEB Directors, UBEC Officers and Quality Assurance Officers in the State.
