General Elections: Famurewa Submits Intent Form In Abuja* _...reiterates desire to make life better for his people_ By Sofiu Abdulganiyu*

Hon. Ajibola Famurewa on Wednesday submitted his intent form to contest for the National Assembly position in the 2023 General Elections.

Hon. Famurewa who is hoping to represent the people of Osun East at the National Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress said improving the welfare of the people is the major reason why he is contesting the National Assembly seat.

He said good governance and equal distribution of dividend of democracy which the people of Osun East has been yearning for will be his major focus if given the chance to represent them.

He said, "Good governance is sacrosanct and there is no two ways to delivering on good governance. This is our watchword in the APC, this is what Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is already doing and I want to complement my Governor's efforts in doing everything possible to make life better for our people.

"The people of Osun East deserve better in terms of Senatorial representation, they deserve better life and more dividends of democracy to make their life meaningful, this is what I am promising and it is what I am determined to do.

"Let me also use this opportunity to appeal to our people to return Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for a second term in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Osun on July 16. Let us allow good governance to continue, Oyetola has been tested and we know he means well for the people". The former House of Representatives member stated.

It is fact that Hon. Ajibola Famurewa is a kind hearted man who is so passionate about standard and good living of his people through the provision of social and Infrastructural amenities.

It is believed that if voted in as the Senator to represent the people of Osun East he will be so much engaged and concerned with the activities of proposing viable bills into law, thereby bringing back home the dividend of democracy that will suit the quest and needs of the people of his senatorial District and that will benefit the good citizens of Osun state at large.
