Dupe Ajayi-Gbadebo Berates Insecurity Says to Enjoy the Good Life, the Society Must Be Safe

For Ijesa people to enjoy the dividends of their investments of time, energy, intellectual and finances, a legal luminary and media expert has urged them to speak up against the frustrating insecurity issues bedevilling the country.

Chief Mrs. Dupe Ajayi-Gbadebo, journalist, lawyer, arbitrator and editor/political and former Managing Director/Editor In-Chief of the Sketch Newspaper while delivering her contribution and goodwill message as the Mother of the Day at the investiture ceremony of Rotarian Olu Olujide as the 7th President of the Rotary Club Ilesa Metropolitan, District 9125 remarked that Ijesa people have built a modern palace, an eye-popping Geriatric Center, and now in the process of upgrading a college into a world class University, which surely will be achieved successfully.

"However to continue to enjoy the dividends of these investments I want to call our attention to a thorny issue: to enjoy the good life, the society must be safe. This society of ours is no longer safe. We can no longer sleep with our eyes close, we cannot move around easily. We can no longer protect our lives and properties, we are beginning to lose our rights." She expressed passionately.
