NGO Donates Learning Materials To Ilaa-Ijesa Students




 


Otunba Olagoke Moses Oladosu in collaboration with his Active Youth Zone, a Non Governmental Organization has donated learning materials to students of St. James Anglican Primary School, Ilaa-Ijesa as part of his efforts to enhance the quality of education, support the community and Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola's educational policies.






The "Welcome back to school” donation that worth N500,000 was made by Otunba Olagoke the Executive Director of the NGO, on Wednesday.





Otunba Olagoke, a resident of Manchester, UK, said that the intervention was to assist less privileged pupils in Ilaa-Ijesa with learning materials at the beginning of every school year.


The Alaa of Ilaa-Ijesa, Oba Dr. Ojarotade Adewale, Olori Kehinde Olayemi, Alaa in council chiefs, parents and teachers were in attendance at the ceremony that took place at the playground of the school where Alhaji Bakare Ajewulere, the Chief Imam of Ilaa-Ijesa mosque offered the prayers for a successful academic year and development of the town.
