Osun State police command has begun investigation into the murder of an Ilesa based business man , Gbenga Okotore also Known as Hamog.
The State police public Relations officer, Yemisi Opalola disclosed this while confirming the killing of the middle aged Ilesa based socialite in his residence at , Ilesa around 8 pm on Wednesday, 16th March, 2023.

Report says that Hamog who ran a sachet water business until his death was trailed to his house and shot in the head at close range by unknown assailant.
A neighbor who preferred anonymity hinted that fear gripped his family members at the sound of the gunshots followed by wailing shortly afterwards.
He described the deceased as a peace loving and a complete gentle man who related freely with everyone, describing his killing as devastating.
