The Timi of Ede, Oba Adesola Lawal, Laminisa I, on Sunday paid a congratulatory visit to the Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa, Oba Oyebade Samson Kehinde Oyeleye.
He seized the occasion to add his voice to the call for cooperation and in-depth collaborations between the traditional rulers of Ijesaland towards achieving meaningful growth and development in their various communities.
Oba Adesola Lawal gave the charge as he urged the traditional rulers of Atakumosa East local government to collaborate with the new Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa.
He harped on the need for mutual respect and the need to close ranks in upholding unity and peaceful coexistence to promote peace and developments in their communities. He said that the call became imperative as the new Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa needs to learn how other obas have overcome challenges.
Earlier while welcoming the Timi of Ede to the ancient town of Ipole-Ijesa, Oba Oyeleye appreciated the fatherly role and support he enjoyed from him before and after his emergence as the Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa.
