Tinubu names Alake, Ribadu, Edun, others as special advisers






President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight special advisers, naming Dele Alake as Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy.


A statement issued on Thursday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director Information, State House, indicated that Mr. Wale Edun is appointed Special Adviser, Monetary Policies.


Others are Mr. Yau Darazo, Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser, Energy, and Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser, Revenue.

 


Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Nuhu Ribadu, was named the Special Adviser, Security.


Mr John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu becomes Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment while Dr (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas is Special Adviser, Health.


Recall that the President recently sought and obtained the Senate’s approval to appoint 20 Special Advisers.
