The Yoruba movie industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Musiliu Ajikanle.
It was learnt that the thespian, who was the producer of the popular movie ‘Mufiu Olosha Oko’ reportedly passed away, after struggling with a stroke for seven years.
Nigerian filmmaker and actor Saliu Gbolagade, announced the demise of Ajikanle in a post via his Instagram page on Monday, July 31.
While expressing grief over the demise, Gbolagade said, Ajikanle’s footsteps will never be forgotten.
He wrote, “Ina Lilah Waina Allah Rajiun God gave each of us the gift of life, and God gifted us with eternal life. Rest well my dear friend Musiliu Ajikanle Your footsteps can never be filled, nor your love ever forgotten. May the blessings and peace of a good life lived follow you into heaven”
Some yoruba Nollywood stars like, Olayinka Solomon, Fathia Balogun, Portable Abubakar, Sola Kosoko and many other expressed their condolences in the comment section, wishing the deceased eternal peace.
