Oluwo restates his refusal to condone tradition that limits people's movement as Gov. Adeleke Sends SA Security to Iwo on Isese Day (WATCH VIDEO)

Governor Ademola Adeleke has deployed his special adviser on security, Samuel Ojo, to Iwo in order to avoid any breach of peace in the state.

The Natural Paramount King of Iwoland, Alase lori Orisa, Arole Olodumare in Yorubaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Abdulrosheed Adewale, Telu 1 had banned some practices of traditional worshippers in his domain, stating that it does not align with civilization.

The special adviser at the palace at Iwo, however, met various stakeholders.

But in swift reaction from Oluwo in video released, Oluwo remarked that he sponsored Egungun festival in iwo every year same as this year but we will not condone any tradition or culture that will limit people's movement or right to go out.

The governor 's message conveyed by Samuel Ojo, underscores that peaceful co-existence is a must and any group that breaches the peace of the state will have security operatives to contend with. The government has taken all necessary security precautions. The traditionalists are free to exercise their fundamental human rights. They must act within the bounds of the law.
