Aregbesola's Aide Hints on Moves to Reconcile with Oyetola

A former aide to former Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has revealed that his principal is ready to dialogue with pro-Adegboyega Oyetola led group of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Aregbesola has been at the loggerhead with his successor (Oyetola) for some times now. But in an interview with Abosede Oluwaseun, Organizing Secretary of Comrade Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola (CORA), said the former Interior Minister is prepared to hold a significant meeting with Gboyega Oyetola, the current minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with OlalekanEfficient on Tungba100.9FM Lagos, Abosede Oluwaseun, who also served as SSA to Aregbesola on Students Matter when he was the governor of Osun state indicated that Aregbesola was ready to engage in a meaningful dialogue with APC leaders and Oyetola.

“Such a meeting would be exceptional, as it would bring together two influential figures in the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Osun state.”

Oluwaseun also expressed his concerns regarding the suspension of some notable members of the APC who are loyal to Aregbesola in Osun state, saying “this move would not be beneficial to the progress and success of the APC in Osun state.”

Oluwaseun emphasized the importance of unity within the party and called for a swift resolution of the discord to strengthen the party’s position in the state.

This new development hints at the possibility of a reconciliation between Aregbesola and Oyetola, which would have significant implications for the political landscape in Osun State and the APC as a whole.
