It was emotion-laden yesterday when the Founder and Chairman of Odofin Oasis Foundation, Hon. Seun Odofin donated food items and toiletries to the students of Ijesa School for Children with Special Needs, Ijebu-jesa road, Ilesa, to celebrate the 69th birthday anniversary of the former governor of Osun State and current minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.
Odofin, the House of Representatives Candidate of the All Progresives Congress for Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency in the last election, provided for the use of the special students items such as bags of rice, packs of indomie noodles, bundle of biscuits, detergent and tissue papers.
Receiving the donation, a teacher and carer at the school for the gifted, who could not withhold her happiness over the good gesture of the Ijebu-jesa-born lawyer and politician, expressed her profound appreciation to the donor and wished the celebrant many happy returns in good health and abundant wealth.
According to her, "It is not common to see politicians and privileged Nigerians identify with these gifted children here. We thank the founder of this NGO, Barr David Seun Odofin, for this big and genuine donation. May God continue to bless him."
The Ijesa School for the Children with Special Needs, located at Enu-odi, Ijebu-jesa road, Ilesa, was created to serve the six local government areas in Ijesaland.
