Osun APC Celebrates Affirmation Of Tinubu's Victory By Supreme Court

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the affirmation of the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the Supreme Court as a triumph of truth over falsehood.

It would be recalled that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP)and his counterpart in the Labour Party (LP) had challenged the election of President Tinubu at the Supreme Court sequel to his earlier victory at the polls and the Court of Appeal.

In a unanimous decision by the Justice John I. Okoro-led seven-man panel of the Supreme Court today, the presidential victory of President Tinubu was affirmed.

According to the Osun State chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo, the state capital today, justice was indeed manifestly served with the affirmation of the presidential election victory of President Tinubu.

Lawal  stated that the Supreme Court victory of President Tinubu was a breakthrough for the people of this country and that it would further deepen electoral jurisprudence and constitutional democracy of the nation as so many hitherto legal knotty issues were thrashed out by the noble men of the Supreme Court.

He enjoined  all and sundry irrespective of their political persuasions to support the efforts of President Tinubu to provide qualitative governance for the people of this country in all the geopolitical zones of the nation.

The Osun State APC chairman reminded the people that now that the issue of the presidential election has been laid to rest, all the patriots in the country should preoccupy themselves on how Nigeria can become a better place in the overall interest of the citizenry.

Lawal congratulated all the members of the APC in Osun State on the victory of President Tinubu, tasking them to brace up for the clarion call to further propagate the political evangelism of the national arrow head of the party.

In his words: "We are grateful to Allah for granting the national leader of our party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the victory at the Supreme Court today.

"May God continue to spare the life of President Tinubu and grant him wisdom, knowledge and understanding to record a monumental success in his assignment to serve the people of this country", Lawal prayed.
