No fewer than 30 traditional rulers of the Ijesa South Council of Obas, yesterday gathered at the Ilesa palatial residence of Ogboni of Ipole-Ijesa, Oba Oyebade Samson Kehinde Oyeleye, for their General Assembly meeting.
Oba Oyeleye is the Chairman of Ijesa South Council of traditional rulers.
It was an opportunity for the Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee Members led by Chief Afolabi Igbaroola to rub mind with the general assembly of traditional rulers from the zone and present the programs lined up for the 2023 edition of the annual festival of unity, the grand finale of which is coming up on Saturday 23rd of December, 2023.
The traditional rulers unanimously pledged their allegiances and unalloyed respect and support for the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, Oba (Dr.) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, as they show appreciations of the efforts of Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee at advancing development in Ijesaland through unity.
