Mr. Bosun Falore turned 70 on the 5th of December, 2023 and found himself reflecting on his life goals — particularly in the realm of philanthropy.
As part of his 70th birthday ceremony, he sponsored a bursary award for 50 Ijesa indigenes at the Chapel in the Anglican Bishop’s court Oke Oye on 27th December 2023 during a holy communion service presided over by Rt. Rev. Prof. Dapo Folorunso Asaju the Diocesan Bishop of Ilesa Diocese. Also in attendance were Barr. Mrs. Harriet Seun Asaju, priests, parents and the awardees.
Also in attendance were Engr. Niyi Falore and Prof Foluso Okunmadewa who urged the awardees to work towards paying back the community for the award.
In addition to these pioneer 50 awardees sponsored by the celebrant, Ilesa Diocese has equally extended similar awards to 10 children of some clergymen of the Diocese.
Bosun, a chartered accountant, entrepreneur, businessman is the Chairman, Mind Builder Education Trust that has the aim and objective of providing quality premium education for Nigerian children.
He recently organized a humanitarian free medical outreach at the Ijesaland Geriatric Centre, Ilesa, Osun State as part of his avowed commitment in touching humanity and held a 70th Birthday Dinner at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The soft-spoken celebrant, a born Anglican, has been worshipping at Saint John Cathedral Church Iloro, Ilesa since birth.
In his charge to the beneficiaries he expressed so much joy and satisfaction at the disbursement of N50,000 each to 50 Ijesa indigenous students who are Anglicans that have not run away to the Pentecostal church.
