Osun Police parade 14 suspected criminals (Photos)






The Nigeria Police, Osun State Command, has arrested six suspects for conspiracy, armed robbery, unlawful possession of firearms and attempted murder.


Also arrested by the Command were six suspects for conspiracy, steaming and vandalisation and one each for burglary and stealing and conspiracy, conduct likely and membership of unlawful society.


The suspects were paraded at the Command headquarters by the new Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Isyaku as part of successes recorded in the Command upon assumption of office,





CP Isyaku while parading the suspects revealed that they were arrested in different parts of the state by personnel of the Command.


According to Isyaku, the suspects paraded for conspiracy, armed robbery, unlawful possession of firearms and attempted murder are, “Ojo Tunde, male, aged 30 years, Olayemi Abiodun, male, aged 23 years, Opeyemi Olawuwo, male, aged 38 years, Akolade Kazeem, male, aged 43 years, Kazeem Ajala, male, aged 47 years and Abeeb Abioye, male, aged 29 years.


Exhibits in their possession were, “One cut to size single barrel gun, one live cartridge ammunition, one black unregistered Bajaj motorcycle.


“One Toyota Muscle Camry with registrar number EPE 191 EJ, two fabricated wooden rifles, one jean trouser, black shirt and fez cap and some suspected stolen phones.”


Others arrested were, Damilola Oladele, male, 24 years for burglary and stealing.






Exhibits in his possession were, “Two black standing fans, two legs of 25 litres of groundnut oil, cooking utensils, three power generating sets, one electric cooker, two gas cookers, one ring light, half bag of rice, one 6kg gas cylinder and one 3kg gas cylinder.”


Paraded for conspiracy, stealing and vandalisation are; Abass Adam, male, 40 years, Ganiyu Sakiru, male, aged 25 years, Wahab Idowu, male, 47 years of age, Ibrahim Amodu, male, 26 years of age, Sikiru Ayomide, male, aged 20 and Haruna Quadri, male, aged 32 years.





Exhibits found on them include, “Some pieces of armoured cable wire, one Peugeot 607 car with registration number ADK 790 B` and six pieces of iron saw blades.”


Isyaku however revealed that all the suspects after due interrogation confessed to the crimes and would be charged in court after completion of the investigation.
