Engineer Kayode Sowade, a former member of the Uniosun Teaching Hospital Board and follower of HE Adegboyega Oyetola CON, has congratulated Hon. Rotimi Makinde, Hon. Nike Omoware, Hon. Segun Fanibe, Hon Tunde Lekan Olatunji and other notable progressive politicians who were yesterday announced as chairmen and members of federal tertiary institutions governing councils.
In a congratulatory message signed and made available to newsmen, Engr. Sowade felicitated with Hon. Makinde who was announced as a member of the governing council of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Hon. Nike Omoworare member Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Alhaji Jamiu Olawumi, a former Special Adviser on Education was named a member of the University of Benin governing council, Hon. Segun Fanibe and Hon. Tunde Lekan Olatunji, a former Chief Whip of the Osun House of Assembly were named members of the governing councils of the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede and Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti respectively. Also on the list are Hon. Bisi Odewunmi, a former Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Osun State and Sooko Kemade Elugbaju.
He affirmed his firm believe in the intelligence and rich credentials of these great sons and daughter of Ife land whom he stated are assets of immeasurable value to the progressive family in Osun who will discharge their duties with utmost patriotism and diligence.
He further congratulated other progressive leaders who made the list notable amongst them is a former Osun Subeb Chairman, Engr. Israel Ajibola Famurewa, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye who is the immediate past speaker of the Osun House of Assembly and a host of others.
He lauded the leader of the APC in Osun, HE Adegboyega Oyetola CON, the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy for facilitating such unprecedented appointments stating that the Minister's exceptional leadership and pragmatic disposition to the affairs of Osun APC are pointers that the party remains the only credible option for Osun and it's citizenry.
He praised the Minister for his actions of reassurances which as served as a strong bond that keeps the party together in Osun. He stated that the party is in pole position to reclaim the state in 2026 and reengineer the economy of the state for the betterment of all.
He urged the new appointees to remain patriotic to the country, Osun and APC while affirming his believe that they are all round pegs in a round hole.
