Many Ilesa East local government members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would not forget in a hurry this year's celebration of Eld-el-Kabir as Otunba Akeem Adesoji Olowoopejobori, former Chairman of the LG feted his constituents as a way of thanking them for their support for the Sooko Tajudeen Lawal led APC in the state.
At the well-attended event where Olowoopejobori rolled out the drums and sumptuous menu to make the season memorable were political chieftains, political leaders, ward executives, groups and other eminent personalities even from outside his constituency.

Oluremi Omowaiye MD FHA who represented Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola the honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.
Congratulating Muslims in the constituency on the joyous occasion, the APC leader in Ijesa zone, Chief Kunle Odeyemi urged them to emulate the spirit with which the host celebrated the occasion, disclosing that it is the essence of the season to imbibe the sacrifice and humility for the promotion of peace and tranquility in the country.
The APC leader also appealed to well-placed persons in the constituency to show love and share good things and time with the less-privileged.
The list of distinguished personalities include Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, Hon. Babatunde Komolafe, Hon. Femi Onigbogi, Barr. Oluwadare ojo, Hon. Akinyele Akintola, Hon. Idowu Falade, Hon. Idowu Omotoye amongst others.
