Fans are mourning the demise of popular Yoruba newscaster, broadcaster and MC, Taiwo Kekereekun who passed away Monday morning.
The tragic news of her death is everywhere on Facebook by many of her fans.
Olajide Steve Tomisin, Director of News at Uniq fm Ara Station, Ilesa disclosed tha Taiwo Kekereekun was a gallant soldier who fought the good fight.
"You have finished the race well, you have kept the faith.
"Now there is in store for you Taiwo, the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day...
"I will miss you ,miss your creative ideas with your Unique voice, and jovial nature. I feel sad about your departure.
May God Almighty consoles the family, friends and hundreds of thousands of fans you left behind."
According to him, Taiwo died after a brief illness.
Also, Fresh FM, the radio where she last worked has confirmed her death.
