Tinubu signs N70,000 minimum wage bill into law






President Bola Tinubu has signed the minimum wage bill into law.


The president signed the bill in the council chamber of the State House, in the middle of the federal executive council (FEC) meeting.


KEY ISSUES



* This law provided that minimum wage SHALL be reviewed in the next 3years instead of 5years. 


* Tinubu will pay the arrears from May 1 to July 29.  


*  August salary will reflect the new updated salary.
