Two persons died and one injured yesterday in an auto accident on the Ibafo corridor of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The crash, which occurred about 05.38am, involved vehicles with registration numbers
EDE217XB (a Mazda bus) and a truck marked AJL715XA.
Chief Route Commander/Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun Sector Command, Florence Okpe, who made this known to reporters attributed the causes to road obstruction and fatigue.
Okpe, who spoke on behalf of the FRSC Sector Commander, Akinwumi Fasakin, said the injured victim was taken to Hopeland Hospital, Warewa while the remains of the dead were deposited at Real Divine Hospital morgue, Ibafo.
She quoted Fasakin as sympathising with the family of the victims and advised motorists to be on alert while driving as well as observing some rest to avoid fatigue or dozing off on wheel.
