Delegates from the United States of America, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Cuba, as well as, Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday stormed Osogbo, Osun State to attend annual convention of ‘Peers of Heaven’ group, otherwise known in Yoruba language as ‘Emere.’
A delegate from United States, who identified herself as Osunsola, who was attending the festival for the fourth time, said though she was born and raised in US, she was able to establish her Nigerian nationality and Yoruba heritage through DNA.
Osunsola, who commended the organisers of the festival, further said, ‘Peers of Heavens’ are helpers of their earthly colleagues, and should be respected and pampered.
