The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), on Saturday confirmed death of four persons in an accident that occurred along Ilesa-Akure road, Ikeji-Arakeji in Oriade Local Government, Osun State.
The Osun Commandant of the Corps, Taofeek Sokunbi, confirmed that 20 people were also injured in the accident.
According to him, the accident involved three vehicles, and those who died include three female adults and one male adult.
“The vehicles involved included two buses and one truck. The accident occurred where bumps is located at Ikeji-Arakeji,” Sokunbi said.
He said the accident which happened about three days ago, was caused by excessive speeding.
Sokunbi thereby advised road users to drive carefully on the road, saying that the accident was due to the carelessness on the part of the drivers
