On Monday, September 23, 2024, HRM Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi (JP), FCIPM, FNIM, MNIPR, FAFUED, FOSCOTECH, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji and Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), visited the Hon. Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdulahi, at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Abuja, where issues of food security in collaboration with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, were discussed.
Oba Olabomi reiterated the urgent need to move away from the traditional hoe and cutlass method to the use of motorized/mechanically propelled mini machines, emphasizing that making farming easier would motivate our youths to go into farming as business.
The working visit to Abuja continues.
