"With heavy hearts, the Fariogun Fajemisin family of the Bilaro Descendants and Ruling House mourn the passing of Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, CFR, LLD.

"We extend our deepest condolences to the Bilayi Arere Ruling House, the Aromolaran Dynasty, and entire ljesa Land, whom have all been profoundly impacted by the extraordinary life and leadership of our departed and cherished Owa Obokun Adimula of ljesa land.

"Owa Aromolaran's remarkable 42-year reign is defined by excellent commitment to growth and progress of ljesa Land. His visionary leadership not only cultivated peace and stability but also heralded an era of advancement and prosperity. Throughout his tenure, Oba Aromolaran attracted vital human resources and lives-changing projects that have left a lasting legacy within our communities.

"One of the most notable accomplishments of his rule was elevation of Ilesa to the status of being a university town: deriving the wherewithal from his being an accomplished educationist, author and publisher. This significant achievement has paved the way for higher education, and countless opportunities for the youth of Ijesa Land to prepare them for facing future challenges.

"Worthy of must mention too, is Owa Aromolaran's foresight in rallying the support of ljesas home and abroad to build a geriatric hospital that has greatly enhanced healthcare in the region: this is a testament to his commitment to improving the quality of life for the elderly. This has evidently been both a boom and boon for healthcare in the entire region and is poised to be a landmark that serves beyond the wider ljesha region.

"These amongst many others have stood him out as a revered visionary not only for the ljesas (home and abroad) but in Osun and indeed the entire country of Nigeria.

"His reign was characterized by a profound sense of responsibility towards his people, with his many contributions shaping the educational and healthcare landscapes of ljesa Land.

"His dedication to promoting cultural heritage, fostering economic growth, and enhancing social welfare will always be remembered and treasured.

"As we grieve the loss of our esteemed monarch, our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved Queens (Oloris), his cherished children, and all members of his immediate and extended family.

"We also extend our heartfelt sympathies to the entire Ijesa community, who have lost a great father, a great leader, and a shining bright guiding light.

"In this time of deep sorrow, we pray for God's comfort and strength to uplift all those affected by this loss.

"May Owa Aromolaran find eternal peace in the embrace of the Almighty, and may his legacy continue to inspire and guide us in the years ahead.

"Adieu, our beloved Adimula. Your memory will forever be etched in our hearts."
