Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II, on Friday sent a high-powered delegation to Ilesa to console Ijesa people, Agbanla, the Ijesa Senate /highest Parliament, Owa-in-Council and Subjects on the recent demise of HRH Oba Dr Adekunle Aromolaran II who until his demise was the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland.
Delivering Ataoja's condolence message to the assembly the leader of the delegation said Oba Laroye feels saddened about the passing of Oba Aromolaran and sent his deepest sympathy and prayers.
He said: “Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II has sent us to commiserate with the entire people of Ijesaland. He sends his best wishes, his prayers, his thoughts to Ijesaland traditional rulers, chiefs, Oloris and the entire family.
The assembly of Agbanla Ijesas, (the ijesa Senate /highest Parliament), Owa-in-Council and Subjects continue to receive visitors at the Aromolaran Civic Centre, Ereja, Ilesa.
