Ilaa-Ijesa indigents morn the passing of Owa Aromolaran






The entire indigents of Ilaa-Ijesa, Atakumosa West local government, Osun State have commiserated with the Aromolaran Royal family and all sons and daughters of Ijesaland.


In a press release signed by Oba Dr Adewale Ojarotade, the Alaa of Ilaa-Ijesa on behalf of Alaa in council and the entire community, he commiserated with all Ijesa people at home and diaspora, and in particular the Aromolaran Royal family on the transition of the paramount ruler of Ijesaland, Owa Obokun Adimula Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II CFR LLD. 


“The death of Oba Aromolaran is a great loss to the people of Ilaa-Ijesa, and he will be greatly missed. 


"He made lots of positive impacts during his lifetime, contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of Ijesaland, Osun state and Nigeria as a traditional ruler.


"He left a lasting legacy that the people of Ilaa-Ijesa will continue to cherish. I pray that Almighty God be pleased with the soul of the late monarch and grant the royal family, the people of Ijesaland and Osun State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” Alaa statement read
