The members of the Annual Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee on Wednesday 4th of September, 2024 went on a working visit to the Ilesa Grammar School mini-stadium, the proposed venue for the grand reception of the 2024 edition of the annual Iwude Ijesa Festival.
KAKAKIOODUA online media had earlier reported that the 2024 edition of Iwude Ijesa festival is undergoing rebranding as the traditional statutory day of the visitations of the Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland to his chiefs that include the Yeyerise, Obala, Sawe, Lejoka and Salotilun courtyards has been separated from the day for the grand reception.
The statutory visits will hold on Saturday 21st of December while the grand reception will hold at the Ilesa Grammar School, mini sport arena on Sunday the 22nd.
The committee members' visit to the proposed venue with event organisers and members of canopies rental association afforded the opportunity of understanding the significance of choosing the venue as members brainstormed to align the spacious venue with the event objectives and ensures a memorable experience for attendees.
