The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended the leader of the party in the state, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, for his numerous efforts in kind and cash to keep the party afloat in the state.
The state chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, today, stated that the constant maintenance of the party by the former Osun State Governor Oyetola has been the reason for its sustainability in the state.
Lawal stated that Alhaji Oyetola is always at bell-and-call to assist the running of the party in the state at all times without let or hindrance.
He explained that it is pretty difficult for any one to have the feeling that the APC is currently not in power at the state level as God has skillfully perfected the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy to fill the gap.
The state party chairman stated further that it was the kind gesture and the giving spirit of Alhaji Oyetola that has been spurring other well-to-do chieftains of the party in the state to always come to the aid of the party and the less-privileged members who are in dire need.
Lawal hinted that the state executive officers of the party in the state would remain eternally grateful to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy for his constant fatherly role in the running of the party in the state.
According to the state chairman: "Without the constant oiling of the machinery of our party in Osun State by the minister, it would have been pretty difficult for its sustainability.
"Thank God that we have a Minister who is caring and putting in his all for the smooth-running of our party in the overall interest of all the stakeholders of the party.
"I am using this forum to appreciate the kind gesture of those who have been extending their endowments to the party for its sustainability and also imploring those who are capable but yet to do same to imitate Alhaji Oyetola.
"I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that any investment by its stakeholders in any form or manner would never be in vain", Lawal stated.
