The people of Ijesaland have received condolences from the Bilaro Ruling House as the mourning of Owa Obokun approaches its seventh day.

Oba Olabode Owofade, the Olumelu of Imelu and leader of the Bilaro delegation to the Agba Ijesa and chiefs, stated that the passing of Kabiyesi Adekunle Aromolaran II marked the end of an era in Ijesaland history in addition to being a tragic loss.

The great paramount king, according to the ruling house of Bilaro, will be missed for his bravery, generosity, and sense of humour.

Additionally, the ijesas received condolences from the Ajimoko Royal Family and the Fajemisin Roya Family, both of which are branches of the Bilaro family, over the death of Owa Obokun.

Delegates of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ilesa  and Christ Apostolic Church, CAC  also registered their condolences.

The late Owa Obokun was a brave king who understood his value while he was still living, according to the Ajalaye of Ipetuijesa, Oba Adeleke Agunbiade Oke, Agunbiade III.

In a statement of sorrow, Oba Agunbiade noted that Oba Aromolaran stood for the truth and the truth alone throughout his life, calling him a tried-and-true traditional role model.

The late supreme monarch, according to the Oloja Ibodi, oba Folasade Agboluaje, had left a lasting legacy and set a record for progress in Ijesa history.
