Following the demise of the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, a High Chief,, also one of the kingmakers (Iwarefamefa), James Busuyi Gbadamosi, Obaodo of Ilesa, has hinted that the next Owa to be chosen would be the one that has being identifying with Ijesa people's dreams and aspirations.
Speaking last Friday at a meeting organized by the Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee with Ijesaland Clubs and Societies, High Chief Gbadamosi said;
"Those that want the development of Ijesaland should equally hold that Ijesa people should avert the situation where a wrong candidate is selected.
"I want to assure you that a candidate that is known to us; that has been identifying with us, eating and drinking with us would be given priority."
