Speaking at the event which is part of the programs lined up for the 3-day program in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the old students leaving the school, the NDLEA Zonal Commander for Ondo State, ACGN Yomade Ogunbiyi also a member of the set urged the students not to engage in drug abuse.

He told them that getting into drugs was easy, adding the consequences were grave and could bring shame and ruin to them and their families: that engaging in drugs could stop them from achieving the goals in life and making them worthless, adding that drugs could mar their careers and potentials.

He advised them to be wary of the type of friends they keep, adding that most young who are into drugs were lured by friends into the habit.

The school also  received donations of an art studio and a rebranded school's Giant 20 x 10' Reflective Double Sided School Signage from the set.

This gesture according to the set was a way of giving back to the institution that formed them.

Welcoming dignitaries to the dedication of the special projects in commemoration of the 40th Year Anniversary of their graduation from the school, Mr. Bayo Fadugba, the Chairman of the set remarked that many of their mates have gone including the Senior Prefect as he prayed for the repose of their souls.

Speaking further, Bayo Fadugba said; "This group is to always find a way to give back to this school that has molded us to who we are today,

"This Art Studio cost us well above N15m to build. It is a transformation of a hitherto dilapidated block of lwo classrooms which we had to pull down and reconstructed within the time frame of three months.

" It includes sculptured six set of frontal pillars, a comfortable studío hall with all the necessary furniture, fans, wash hand basins, etc, teacher's office, a storage store and restroom.

"We have also further rebranded the school's Giant 20 x 10' Reflective Double Sided School Signage which we installed in the year 2020 and re-branded during our Reunion in the Year 2021. This time around, we have taken the outlook to a higher aesthetics level, and also installed Solar Flood Light on both sides of the Signage to ensure constant brightness of the Signage at night and to also light up the school gate at the cost of N2m.

"This is not the first time that this formidable set is doing this. In the Year 2021, to celebrate the school's 65th Anniversary, we restructured a dilapidated block of three classrooms and the Science Staffroom with all necessary features including state of the art furnitures.

"We also installed reflective door signages on all the relevant offices, laboratories and blocks in the school for easier identification.

"However, we will like to assure this gathering that we will not rest on our oars, and will continue to give back to the school from time to time, God helping us."
