KAKAKIOODUA has been informed that the installation of Prince Clement Adesuyi Haastrup as Loja of Igbo Ikin in Atakumosa East local government, Osun State did not go well with some sons and daughters of Ilota and has since generated lot of uproar as some principal stakeholders of the town claimed that they were not aware of such installation since Igbo Ikin is an extension of Ilota Community under the jurisdiction of a Part two Oba, namely His Royal Highness Oba Oyebode Aluko the Salio of Ilota who is presently indisposed on health grounds.
Our source who doesn't want his name to appear in print remarked that the Salio of Ilota who is the consenting authority over Igbo Ikin was not carried along and is not part of the arrangement to install Prince Adesuyi as Loja.
"Some people just took the advantage of the sickness of Oba Oyebode Aluko to perpetrate this fraudulent act.
"Even the people of the community are of the opinion that Oba Oyebode Aluko cannot single handedly take such a step without carrying his Chiefs and the community along.
"What if at the end of the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland selection processes, Prince Clement Adesuyi Haastrup fails to emerge." Our source asks
