 A Call to Uphold the Integrity of Ijesha Tradition by all Ijesha;

We, the Fajemisin Family, strongly condemn the recent selection of the Owa-elect of Ijesaland. This process has been tainted by irregularities, a blatant disregard for traditional customs, and a flagrant disregard for the judiciary.

The actions of the local and state governments have compromised the sacred traditions of the Ijesa people. The selection process was inherently flawed, and the imposition of a candidate without due regard for custom and law is utterly unacceptable.

We categorically reject the purported Owa-elect and demand a transparent, lawful process that honors our customs and traditions. We call on all stakeholders to join us in upholding the integrity of our heritage and the rule of law.

We will pursue all available legal means to defend our rights and restore the honor and pride of the Ijesa people.
