His mother, Olori Rachael Tinuola, belonged to the noble Adeniyi and Fadeyi families of nearby Esa-Oke, strengthening the family's ties to royalty. In 19$7, his academic path led bim to Wesley Teacher Training College in Ibadan, where he obtained his Teacher's Grade Il Certificate. After his time at Wesley, he secured a teaching role at Nawair-Ud-Deen Teacher training College in Abeokuta. In 1961, Oba Aromolaran Il took a significant step by enrolling at University College lbadan (now the University of lbadan) to study Economics and Political Science. Despite initial financial hurdles, he earned a Shell-BP scholarship, which covered his tuition and living expenses, allowing him to fully engage in his studies.
