OKG FOUNDATION CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY WELFARE OUTREACH PUTS SMILES ON THE FACES OF ILESA PEOPLE. (PHOTONEWS )






In the spirit of Christmas, Pastors (Dr) Olatunji and  Kikelomo Gbotosho, the Directors of OKG Foundation, established in Ilesa, Osun State, in their bid to propagate the tenets of Christianity and serving humanity, have organized an impactful outreach program with the aim of providing support and assistance to the needy during the end of the year festivities.







During the an outreach program on Tuesday, 3rd December, at llesa Social Elite Club, Isokun, along Osogbo Road, OKG  Foundation shared the goodness of God in an event that highlighted Youth Empowerment, (Supporting young individuals to develop skills for self-reliance.),, Grants to Small Scale Business Owners: (Providing financial support to empower small businesses.), Christmas Food Support: Distribution of food items to support families, and support for the physically disabled.





Speaking before the commencement of the distribution of the items, Master Olatunde Gbotosho, the first son of Pastors (Dr) Olatunji and Kikelomo expressed the passion of his parents and the entire OKG Foundation team for propagating Christianity and providing selfless services to humanity.


"Our mission is rooted in empowering youth, alleviating hardship.and fostering holistic community development. This includes promoting access to qualify education, supporting small scale entrepreneurs, addressing hunger and poverty and offering health care assistance. At the heart of it all is our desire to share the gospel and reflect Christ's love in action." Olatunde said as he extended his heartfelt appreciation supporters and partners who played crucial roles in making the outreach program a resounding success.




Also, Miss Sola Gbotosho presented the OKG Foundation mission to the gathering.


In words of exhortation, Pastor Dr. Olatunji Gbotosho encouraged the attendees to always hold on to God in whatever they are passing through.






"There is nothing so big I can give to humanity that can be more than what God had given by allowing His only begotten son to die for our sins". He said as he narrated his life experience while appreciating the support he enjoyed from his wife.


"It can only be God! With my wife we started from zero. I would also like to appreciate late Mama Dorcas Gbotosho, the woman that raised me and introduced me to Christ. I cannot also forget the impact of my biological mother, Mama Iyabo Gbotosho.' He reminisced as he advised all parents to train their children in the ways of God.


In her speech Pastor Mrs. Kikelomo Gbotosho presented the Scholarship program of the Foundation for serious brilliant Students whose parents  have financial limitations and medical assistance to hospitals and individuals, such as those who can't pay medical bills.


The outreach program that featured Ade Omo Ade Asiwaju as Master of Ceremony had in attendance old students Ilesa Grammar School, led by their National President Sir Obi Daramola and Methodist High School, Ilesa who were classmates of Olatunji and Kikelomo Gbotosho.






Also in attendance was the Fuji music maestro, Adewale Ayuba who also admonished the beneficiaries to see the opportunity as a lifetime chance to be close to God.







At the event, OKG Foundation distributed 8 Sewing machines, 8 Hair Dryers for hairdressers, N50,000 for 40 beneficiaries, N10,000 to average of 600 beneficiaries, Ankara distribution to 100 people including the disabled people. WAEC payment for average of 100 students in ongoing registration, full scholarship to  2 qualified students.





Also the cultural troupes of Ilesa Grammar School and Methodist High School got N150,000 each.



Dignitaries that witnessed the outreach program included Daddy Agboola Gbotosho father to Pastor Olatunji, Mrs. Abimbola Bolarin, Elder Titus Olatunji, Adewale Ayuba, Pastor Adekunle and wife, Dr. Engr Sir Obi Daramola, Pastor Dr. Adekunle Benson, Dr. Adewale Eso, Hon. Niyi Aluko and OKG Director, Mr  Kehinde Alake.


KAKAKIOODUA interacted with some of the beneficiaries that expressed their appreciation prayerfully in Yoruba language
