The Ijesa Felates Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held Saturday 11th January 2025 at the Club's House located at Imo, Ilesa, Osun State with Director General, Dr. Biodun Ogunbeku presiding.
At the meeting, resolutions to approve the previous AGM minutes were first approved and new members were presented and welcomed.
In his annual report DG Biodun Ogunbeku sought for approval of the few changes in the Executive Committee membership.
To enhance the capacity to further deliver on the DG's mandate, the AGM approved Diran Famurewa as Deputy Director General, Toyin Olalemi as General Secretary, Dotun Fawibe as Assistant General Secretary, Gboyega Osungbohun as Director of Socials, Kola Awoniyi as Publicity Secretary, Banji Adekanle as Treasurer, Akin Akinwumi as Financial Secretary, Kolawole Esan as Legal Adviser, Dunsin Tayo as Auditor, Gbenga Lufadeju as Ex-Officio 1 and Ademola Adeboye as Ex-Officio 2.
Some of the Club's community engagements considered at the meeting were the annual Ayo games and the annual scholarship awards.
On the Club's project, the land area occupying the library project is to be converted into a mini estate as the remodeling of the present structure on the land is to be given immediate attention.

Discussions on the financial reports for the Club, Club's Project, the annual Club budget were introduced by Treasurer Banji Adekanle who was applauded after his presentation.
Additionally, the meeting discussed and approved the monthly meeting roster running till November 2025.
Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi with some members of the Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) were given time at the meeting to present the Ijesa Development Fund template before the meeting was adjourned and members embarked on a courtesy visit to the new Owa Obokun, Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, HIM Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ilufemiloye Ajimoko III.
One important highlight of the meeting was the surprise appearance of HRM Oba Engr. Olufemi Agunsoye, Elegboro of Ijebujesa and his Olori.
Other members present include Ademola Adeboye, Ezekiel Ogunjuyigbe, Dotun Fawibe, Duro Arogundade, Biodun Oginni, Banji Adekanle, Akin Olatunbosun, Fade Aluko, Perry Alabi-Aluko, Ayodele Ogunbeku, Ademola Ariyo, Yinka Fasuyi, Sir Obi Daramola, Niran Oginni, Funso Haastrup, Kola Awoniyi, Sir Kunle Odeyemi.
Ijesa Felates Club is dated back to 1966 when young boys, some of them just graduating from secondary schools decided to form a club as "Fellow Mates". The pioneer members were Prince Seyi Lufadeju, late Dr. Akintola Omole and late Niran Kupoluyi, later Oba Engr. Adedoyin Adelekun joined them and the club started growing.
